Pottery Workshop at BBIS, Dwarka

Claying Thoughts recently organized a 2-Day skill based pottery workshop at BBIS Dwarka for a group of 80 students. The workshop was designed to introduce handbuilding pottery techniques to students and enable them to independently create clay objects using the techniques taught to them.
The students were introduced to pottery process and different clay handling techniques. Handbuilding techniques were demonstrated to them for making pots and other decoration items, such as hangings and masks. Students were encouraged to add their own creativity to make their pottery piece unique. Surprisingly, most of the students were touching clay for the first time but they were surely handling it like a pro.
Thank you BBIS for making us a part of this creative endeavor. A sincere thanks to teachers for their great support and special kudos to the group of exceptionally creative and well behaved bunch of students :) Bhavanites….you ROCK!!
Take a look at few moments I captured through my lens. Don't miss the special art room decoration right from the ceiling to the walls around. It was such an inspiring decor and well conceptualized.

  1. I was also a part of this workshop, and I must say that the workshop has taught a lot to us.
